Our ‘pits’ usually feel like we’re in a very hot and parched
desert where we’re walking through ‘the valley of the shadow of
death’. We cannot get out of our pits unless Jesus, our Deliverer, delivers
us! The black and coily ‘pit’ represents the nature of the pit to
suck us down into it…like a snake trying to squeeze the life out of us.
May you take the hand of the One who is reaching out to you in your pit to
deliver you.
